Kakiya Ryokan was a delightful family-friendly haven during our recent stay in Kamakura. As a culinary critic, experiencing Japan's culinary landscape is not only my passion but also a part of my job. However, this time, I was exploring it with a new perspective, accompanied by my family. My youngest, just under 3 years old, was warmly accommodated, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The communal bath fascinated my child, who couldn't get enough of the relaxing soak time. The traditional Japanese breakfast was not only satisfying but also a hit with the entire family. The proximity to family-friendly attractions like Enoshima and Kamakomae Beach made our stay even more memorable. Kakiya Ryokan truly offers a warm and inclusive experience for families looking to embrace Japanese culture.
